They have hay on their head, turn and look at their friend and shower hay down onto their backs. The feeder box blocks them, if you will, from getting their head in the hay, but allows them to still easily acess the hay to eat.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eThe pvc bars are spaced just far enough that the alpacas can get in and eat, but not stick their heads all the way to the bottom to get the sweet crunchy bits.\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003ch3 class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"\u003eThe box is just the right size for a bale of hay and can be adjusted as needed. We’ve been asked many times if sheep or goats can use this. You, as an owner, need to decide if this is something that would be right for your animals.
